Hailing from Gundungurra lands in the Megalong and now based a couple of valleys over in Little Hartley, I am a visual artist and maker who thinks through timber, repurposes everyday materials and uses the recorded image and ‘extended’ photography.
Schooled under the practice-led ethos of Sydney College of the Arts across under and post-graduate degrees, my past work was often screen and installation-based and research-driven. Now, working independent of gallery representation and outside of an institution, I tend to practice through a minimalist methodology, always reflecting on the relationship between the things that make up the built and perceived ‘natural’ environments.
