Bio & CV

B. 1990 | Based in Sydney

Bryden Williams is a conceptual artist whose work explores the interplay between technology and nature. This work is often image-based, sculptural and site-engaged and tends to speculate on water and other natural elements by emphasising their aesthetic and social value in imaginaries - unique systems of shared cultural meaning. The underlying technological conditions of place is integral to Williams’ site-based research and continues to inform his academic and self-directed endeavours.

Bryden is an art installer, tutor and is currently the Gallery Coordinator at Firstdraft - a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo.
